When we do some intentional or unintentional act which directly or indirectly hurt someone's feelings or we do some physical harms , it becomes an essential prosocial act to ask the hurt person/s to forgive us. It is so needed that if we don't ask so, we will be full of sour and aggressive thoughts in our mind taking away our happiness. In some cases it raises feeling of guilty and we only can recover from it by asking forgiveness. Believe it that asking forgiveness is a genuine source of happiness.
Similarly, it is also essential for the hurt person/s to forgive the person /s who hurt them. It relieves them from toxic feelings of grudges and rebels which too will dry the most desired and vital source of happiness inside one's mind. It shall always be remembered that happiness and peace of mind is too costly to be compensated by aggrieved and toxic acts of hurting others and keeping grudges in our minds with feelings of rebels.
So TRAIN YOUR MIND to remain in positive orientation of asking forgiveness by deep hearty feelings to sooth others whom you hurt. Similarly, forgive others for their hurting acts by heart. I am sure you will be blessed with infinite happiness.
