There is an analogy between money and shadow. One Indian saint has rightly said (in Hindi) , "Maya chaya ek si, birla jane koye....
Bhagat ke piche lage, sammukh bhage soye.."
Both money and shadow run after running humans and if the human tries to look behind, the both disapper within no time. Hence the saint advise to focus on one's good "karmas".
There is a story of child who got exhausted to catch his own shadow and started crying as he could not do that. This story applies on we all who are running after the money(ego) but we never be able to hold it like our shadow as the accumulation of money never ends the race of catching it more as his ego also accompanies this race for accumulating more money.
The story of child continues. One saint came over there and kept the hand of crying child on his head. The child stopped crying as he could catch his own shadow. Similarly the ego of money is like a shadow and our good "Karma" of contolling our ego leads to inner satisfaction and stopping blinding race of accumulating the money and accompanied ego.
So TRAIN YOUR MIND to remain in positive orientation of living your life with inner satisfaction by stopping race of accumulating money accompanied with ego.
Enjoy days always ahead in true love for inner satisfaction that comes through controlling your ego.
