My younger daughter Dr.Yukti is presently with us with her son aging around 3yrs for enjoying holidays. Since 6th March I am observing my grandson who repeatedly speaks out " It is O.K." whenever he is desperately crying for some or other thing. I asked my daughter what and why he is saying this sentence many times during the long spell of his crying behaviour.Then my daughter told me that she and her husband have developed this strategy and traind the child which can help him to soothe himself at earliest possible. Surprisingly with joint efforts of the mother and the son in the same direction the son settled into sobbing and then the mother had good scope for distracting her son to some positive state of mind leading the child indulged in fun play again.
I had seen similar strategy applied by a character in a Hindi film saying " control control " putting his fingers on forehead to cool himself whenever he had an episode of anger. I always use this technique in my daily behaviour transactions whenever some one says me "sorry" desperately after committing an error of serious sort to make the person feel comfortable without getting disturbed due to the error.
My theory of "TRAIN YOUR MIND " is also based on this basic aspect of human behaviour.
So,TRAIN YOUR MIND to remain in positive orientation of nurturing the habit of living in harmony with minimized pain or agony. I am sure you will find yourself as the good manager of your own life in positive sense .
Enjoy days always ahead in true love for mindful strategy to remain in or regain peace of mind.
