Anger is an emotion which normally leads to undesirable consequences. Psychologists too have shown serious concerns about it. History of human is full of deadly example of anger and its bitter consequences. In modern scenario, due to multiple interacting factors, expression of anger is so perverted that at some times it is being considered as an heroic act inspite of clearly obsevable its devastating impact on human lives.
Since last few decades the concept of emotional intelligence has spotted focus on this critical aspect of human behaviour. In terms of emotional intelligence, there are two specific emotional abilities, that is, EMOTIONAL SELF - AWARENESS and ASSERTIVENESS which play crucial roles in anger. Accordingly,don't find its expression in desirable manner. Moreover, the situation becomes more critical when such persons who are unable to understand their own emotions, that is, who are low on this emotional ability,ons are low an assertiveness dimension of emotional intelligence. Low assertive person either unable to express their hurt feelings in socially desirable manner remaining sensitive to others needs and at one point in future burst out in anger or they behave very aggressively all the time while expressing their emotions in destructive manners. Its time to remind you that emotional intelligence abilities are trainable and we can enhance our these non cognitive emotional abilities at any age of our lives.
So TRAIN YOUR MIND to remain in positive orientation of having emotional self-awareness and assertiveness abilities to seek mental peace at deep inner level.
