In continuation to my yesterday's post, today's post is also devoted to the same theme in different perspective. Yesterday
in the evening I was taking dinner in a hotel with my sister and my wife. My sister asked me for explaining the concept of patience in detail with some examples from Indian Mythology wherein people suffered because of their impatience .
In Tretayug, Ravana's death occurred just because he could not control his impulse to kidnap Mata Sita. In Dwapar Yug whole Yaday "wansh" was at the end just because Durvasa Rishi could not control His impulse to curse the son of Lord Krishna whose life too ended because of that curse of Durvasa Rishi. His son and other young ones with him could not have patience to stop irritating Rishi Durvasa inspite of His repeated direction not to do so. King Shishupal's life also came to an end due to his impulse to abuse Lord Krishnaji. Now let us look at the demise of Bhishm Pitamah. Shikhandi, the charioteer of Arjuna in Mahabharata was said to be reincarnation of Princess Amba who was forcefully taken away by Bhishm Pitamah for marriage with king of the state. She had to face odd situations due to this and took the vow to be the cause of death of Bhishm Pitamah in her next birth as Shikhandi. Infact, there could not have been any chance of Mahabharat if Draupadi wouldn't have made redicule of Duryodhan during his visit to see the " mesmerizing" Rajmahal" of Pandavas. Duryodhan too could not control his impulses to deprive Pandavas from even a small land. The gambling(chausar) game between Pandavas and Kauravs and the shameful aftermath were undesirable results of unability to control impulses. What to say about Kaliyug? Most of us are suffering pains, increase in relationship issues, deteriorating life style, racial, community conflicts and violence, rapes, murders etc. are critical examples which are occurring every moment on this earth. Again I say the only remedy is PATIENCE, that is, control of impulses to speak and act. Be sure if we try to train our minds to adopt the virtue of patience, HAPPINESS is an essential spontaneous outcome.
So TRAIN YOUR MIND to remain in positive orientation of inculcating the virtue of patience in your life style. I am sure you will be one of the most happiest person on this earth.
Enjoy days always ahead in true love for behaving with patience in every moment of your life.🤗
