Today is very auspicious occasion of Dussehra, a day being celebrated for Lord Ram's, the sign of TRUTH, victory over Ravana, the sign of untruth, ; victory of mannerism over arrogance ; and victory of humbleness over egoism.
Just before this day we cebrated nine sacred days of Shardey Navratri when nine different forms of mother Goddess are prayed in very pious manner. People keep fast on these nine days.There is one common message of both the festivals ,that is, we shall win over all our shortcomings at mind and behaviour level in true sense. In Navratri we keep religious fasting indicating that we will not indulge in toxic mental and physical behaviours .Similarly , celebration of Dussehra indicates that we shall win over our own shortcomings .One more moral message of psychological significance of this festival is understanding that victory is not always winning over others, that is, forcing others to lose . A better aspect of victory is Winning others by keeping oneself at loss.
So TRAIN YOUR MIND to remain in positive orientation of winning others instead of winning over others.
