Yesterday one client came at the end of my last session of the day . Her husband told me that she was much depressed with continuous crying and had intense suicidal ideations .It took me little longer time than routine to set her calm and composed.When we started conversation she told about her disappointment with her brother who is residing in near neighborhood. She needed social and emotional support from her near relations for caring her one of twin sons suffering from cerebral palsy since his birth. During the course of time she lost her most loved father during COVID 19 who was the greatest source of social emotional support for caring this son of her . Since then her life has become a series of miseries.
There are some ways to serve the ultimate purpose of life in such miserable conditions. Firstly,the most important fact is practicing YOGA of GRATITUDE. In this case she must pay her gratitude to the God for blessing her with another absolutely healthy and extraordinary son who is cooperating along with her loving and caring husband in handling the CP child. This attitude of gratitude is the highest level of yoga. Secondly, she has to understand that life without such difficulties is parallel to a slant ECG meaning "the death". It is only good , a sign of our alive status, when we find continous zigzag, up-down lines on EEG. Thirdly, she shall accept that a rock can never become an idol of the God until unless it bears the strokes of chisel hammer. Human life is also similar. We are not able to serve the purpose of our life until unless we are ready to bear strokes of chisel hammer in terms of adversities and difficulties whole of our life.
Thanks to the God, I was able to make her accept the critical situations in her life and feel comfortable. I hope she will continue her journry of self-actualization. It is also the fact of life that the person, who happily passes adverse times in one's life with deep gratitude , only cherish life fully.
So ,TRAIN YOUR MIND to remain in positive orientation of practicing YOGA of gratitude in your whole life.
